Nike Has Made the Roshe One a Retro

Released only in 2012, the Roshe One (formerly the Roshe Run) is by far one of Nike’s most successful contemporary silhouettes, garnering dozens of colorways and discipline-specific iterations in the following years. With the Roshe Two on the horizon, Nike has decided to honor the sneaker with a “Retro” iteration. This does not mean that the shoe is being declared a retro model, rather, the Roshe One “Retro” takes cues from Nike’s runners of old, including its nylon construction — echoing that of the Cortez and Waffle Trainer — an old-school orange tongue tab, and retro Nike lettering on the heel panel. Available at various Nike Sportswear retailers, including Titolo, for $110 USD.

Nike Roshe One “Winter Yeti”
The Nike Roshe One may not be the first shoe that comes to mind for the winter, but the sportswear giant is definitely trying to make the shoe cold weather-friendly with its “Winter Yeti’ pack. Comprising the shoe’s one-piece upper is a fleece-like suede that emulates the notorious Christmas sweater. Adorning a snowflake pattern, the shoe is available in blue, red and black. The festive look is completed with a mythical Yeti embroidered on its heel. What do you think of this design? Pick one up at Rock City Kicks now, for $85 USD.
